I have to finish my draft tomorrow.. and I always stay up till at least 2 am..

I have plenty of time ^^

(I usually procrastinate till the day before the deadline or a few days.. but will be on the road most of the time... hurray for laptops and wifi)

it's very interesting actually.. enjoyed reading about it.. hate writing scholarly stuff though..

I especially enjoy the part where the jesuits from portugal don't succeed (only succeed from 1590-1614 to contribute something) and then are expelled/banned from Japan in 1614

I also enjoy the part about Inoue Masashige, the Japanese ambassador of the dutch, great inquisitor of christians, sleeping with the shogun (highest position in Japan during that time.. emperor only had a ceremonial role)
